Description - brief

In November 2019, Dr. Rinad Beidas, Penn Medicine's implementation science expert tweeted:

"Hive mind: I want to curate a library of books for my mentees (who are almost entirely females) on success in personal and professional pursuits with an eye towards academia. Can you help me?"

Using their social media networks Dr. Beidas and her collaborators quickly crowdsourced an organic and significant collection of books that contribute to mentorship and the advancement of minoritized and under-represented researchers and faculty, particularly in the biomedical and health sciences. This collection was researched in the Penn Libraries' catalog and, where possible, ebooks were acquired where there were no current holdings.
