Class of 1963 Microtexts Center

Main content

In celebration of its 30th reunion, the Class of 1963 funded the Microtexts Center. It features new reader stations, including reader-printer stations, and modern storage facilities.

With 3.6 million pieces of film, fiche, and microcard, the center has the storage capacity equivalent to that of the entire library! These microforms provide access to materials that are difficult to access by conventional methods.

The Microtexts Center is part of the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center's information services complex, located inside the main entrance. It is one of the library's most heavily visited areas, assisting more than 6,000 students, faculty and staff each day.
