Description
The aim of the exhibition is twofold: to display objects from Borges’s world, and to suggest some for the ways in which he left indelible traces on no less than three centuries: retrospectively, in the 19th Century of his Argentine birth, with its conflicts, brutality, and epic mythologies; more directly, in the 20th Century, when he interpreted and even shaped some of the most relevant aspects of the contemporary imagination; and prophetically, in the 21st Century, the virtual on-line age, made up of screens and webs, which is anticipated and foretold in Borges’s fiction.
