Book Arts from UArts
Selections from the University of the Arts MFA Program in Book Arts/Printmaking 1989-2005

On exhibit August 23, 2005 - October 6, 2005
Begun in 1988/9, the MFA Program in Book Arts/Printmaking at the University of the Arts focuses on the book as a point of departure for art making and personal expression. This exhibition showcases the work of student in the program. Almost every year’s class is represented, including students who will graduate in 2006. The pieces from the first years are early work of artists (such as Denise Carbone, Brad Freeman, Matthew Liddle, Wilber Schilling, and Lori Spencer) whose books have been included in numerous national and international collections.
